My dad always told me that keeping a car means spending for it. Gas, maintenance, accessories and gadgets (for those who are into it) and, more importantly, car insurance. I bought a Ford Expedition and God, my dad was right! I felt the bump of what he said just days after buying it. The gas was okay since I get an allowance for part of it, although my beloved truck really is a sucker for this highly combustible fluid. The thing I can not get over with until now is the insurance premium. The agent was a referral by my friend, so I thought I could get a good deal from him. Talk about wrong impressions. It cost me a leg to pay for my insurance. Turns out I could have been eligible for some discounts from the insurance, the guy just did not inform me. When I logged on to www.carinsurancerates.com, I found out there are many ways to get discounts from insurance companies. Even installing alarms and having bull locks could get you some savings. Awesome site! The next time I have my car insured, I won’t be listening to that dumb friend of mine. There are far more better advisors than him. Meantime, I’ll be enjoying my new ride!
